My night vision was suspended reminds me of an old color TV where the picture was replaced by the red, green and blue.

I'm sure it's my fault not to see too much TV or something, what the reason for all this? I know, color vision and night vision devices have different receptors, and that can respond to signals, as in my brain overlap?
